Home Health

Personalized Care with the Comfort and Security of Home

Home care is a comforting, cost-effective option for recovering in a long-term care center. Whether you are at home or in the hospital, our staff will work with you and your healthcare provider to decide if home care is an alternative. We help create a smooth transition from Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center or another hospital or care center. Our treatment and your health care provider work together throughout your home care experience.

Home Health is often the right choice for people who:

  • Are disabled or too ill to care for themselves
  • Are recovering from illness or surgery
  • Need continuing medical care for a diagnosed condition

Patients and their loved ones choose us because our hospital-based program provides a seamless continuation of care from hospital to home to outpatient services, and you can feel comfortable while allowing our employees in your home because they pass comprehensive background checks. We provide our staff with ongoing education and competency checks to ensure they are suited to your care. We use advanced patient-care technology such as in-home access to medical records through laptop computers.

If a patient needs hospice care in the future, we provide a seamless transition of care and the comfort of familiar faces. We care about your satisfaction and conduct surveys throughout care to promptly resolve issues. Registered nurses are available by telephone 24 hours a day.

Our home health staff includes registered nurses, home health aides, medical social workers, physical therapists, speech/language pathologists, and occupational therapists. Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance carriers reimburse home care services. We will help you understand your benefits and file claims for you.
