Some volunteers host and support visitors, family members and staff at Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.

A four-part training is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on these dates:

  • Wednesday, March 1
  • Friday, March 3
  • Wednesday, March 8
  • Friday, March 10

Training will be at Henry County Health Center in the Health Education Center, 407 S White Street, Mount Pleasant. After training, volunteers are responsible for volunteering a minimum of six hours and attending at least three inservice sessions per year.

Potential volunteers must pass a criminal background check and be at least 18 years old. Registration and completion of application materials is required before the training begins.
