Pack the Gym in Pink Postponed until Feb. 15

Predicted snowfall has postponed tonight’s Pack the Gym in Pink, a Southeastern Community College men’s basketball game fundraiser. It has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, when the Blackhawks take on Iowa Western Community College at SCC’s Loren Walker Arena, 1500 W. Agency Rd., West Burlington. SCC will honor the Pack the Gym in Pink free admission.

Proceeds from the event, which includes T-shirt sales and a silent auction will support Great River Hospice. The SCC Cafeteria will serve a $2 meal of either a hamburger or fish sandwich and chips from 5 to 7 p.m. Half the proceeds will benefit Great River Hospice.

A silent auction of gift baskets will be online until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15. Visit www.thehawkeye.com/packitinpink to make a bid. Baskets will be in the arena for continuing bids from 5 pm. through halftime. Winners will be announced at the game.
