If you are experiencing life-threatening symptoms, please go immediately to the Emergency Department or call 911.
Great River Health’s walk-in clinics provide fast, affordable care for sudden illnesses and minor injuries—no appointment needed. We treat patients ages 6 months and older and offer extended hours to fit your schedule. Our clinics are a more cost-effective alternative to the emergency room when your condition isn’t life-threatening.
Walk-in clinic vs emergency room
- Emergency department: For life-threatening emergencies (e.g., chest pain, severe bleeding, stroke symptoms).
- Walk-in clinic: For sudden but non-emergency conditions when you can’t wait for a regular appointment or other clinics are closed.
