Lung cancer detection and care starts here

Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers in the United States, resulting in more deaths than any other type of cancer. Early detection and treatment improve survival rates. An annual Low-dose CT scan screening for lung cancer is recommended for people who meet the following criteria listed below.

Schedule a lung cancer screening by contacting your primary care physician.

Who should consider this screening

  • Recommended for men and women aged 50-77 years
  • Asymptomatic (no signs or symptoms of lung cancer)
  • Currently smoke or have quit in the past 15 years
  • Have at least a 20 pack-year smoking history

About this screening

  • Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the US.
  • Low-dose CT scans can detect cancer before symptoms start, lowering the risk of dying.
  • Lung cancer often doesn’t show symptoms until it has reached an advanced stage.
