The Cardiovascular Care Unit is primarily for patients with heart-related diagnoses. These patients are at a higher risk of rapid, unexpected changes in their condition, requiring continuous monitoring. A specially trained cardiac care team works together to provide comprehensive treatment using specialized equipment for monitoring, testing, and therapy.

Admission 

A patient may be admitted directly to the CCU by their primary care provider, a cardiologist, a provider in the emergency room, or from another unit of one of our hospitals if their heart health changes.
