The Day Hospitals at Great River Health provide outpatient infusion therapy, injections, and follow-up care for patients who do not require hospitalization and cannot receive the care in their homes. Located on all three of our hospital campuses, the Day Hospital is a dedicated space offering a comfortable and safe area for patients to receive these services.
Our specially trained staff provides infusion services to patients of all ages with both short-term and long-term infusion needs. Compassionate and skilled, your care team consists of physicians, nurses, and pharmacists. Providing the highest standard of care with a personalized touch, they will get to know you as a person, not just as a patient.
During infusion therapy, a liquid is delivered directly into a patient's veins. Infusion therapy can be used for medical treatment or for managing side effects from other treatments.
