Great River Health is making more changes to resume normal operations as
the COVID-19 pandemic continues. These three things will occur Tuesday, May 26:
· The temporary respiratory clinic for people who have respiratory
symptoms that may indicate COVID-19 will move to Great River QuickCare,
624 S. Roosevelt St., Suite 102, Burlington. Appointments are required.
· Services that had been offered at QuickCare will move to Family
Medicine-Great River Medical Center, 1201 W. Agency Rd., West Burlington.
To reduce waiting times, appointments for same-day treatment will be required.
· Family Medicine-Great River Medical Center will resume regular
operations for patients who are enrolled with its providers.
With the transfer of services that had been offered by QuickCare, Family
Medicine-Great River Medical Center will offer treatment for minor illnesses
and injuries for anyone who is at least 18 months old. Pain medicine or
long-term medicines are not prescribed. Patients must pay their insurance
copayment or full payment before meeting with a health care provider.
Coverage for services may vary by insurance provider.
The telephone number will remain 319-768-4320. Hours will be 8 a.m. to
7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Family Medicine-Great River Medical Center is prepared to resume normal
To maintain social distancing at the Family Medicine clinic, appointment
times will be staggered to reduce the number of patients in waiting rooms.
Seats will be at least six feet apart.
Great River Health followed strict cleaning procedures before COVID-19,
and it continues its practice of disinfecting examination and procedure
